Overview
WiN-Bruce encompasses the geographical area of Southwestern Ontario including Bruce County, Grey County, through to Cambridge and London, Ontario. The Bruce Chapter welcomes members from Bruce Power, Ontario Power Generation, Ian Martin, AECL, AMEC NCL, Babcock & Wilcox, Nuclear Safety Solutions and Merlin General.

Sarah Foster
Director, Chair – Bruce Chapter
Governance and Oversight – Bruce Power
Sarah Foster is the current Chair of the Bruce chapter. She began her WiN career as the marketing/communications lead for the WiN Global 2020 conference hosted by WiN Canada in 2021. She is the 2021 recipient of the Harriet Brooks Award. She currently works in Governance and Oversight of Bruce Power’s Emergency Management, Fire and Security Programs. Prior to this, she worked in Bruce Power’s Emergency Management Department, and entered the nuclear industry in 2014 in the company’s Corporate Affairs department. Prior to her career in the nuclear industry, she was a professional journalist, and worked for the Toronto Star, National Post, Hamilton Spectator and other newspapers throughout her 15-year journalism career. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Studies from York University, and Certificates in Emergency Management and Advanced Risk Communications from George Brown College.
