Overview
WiN-Golden Horseshoe West (GHW) is located in Ontario and encompasses the geographical area from the west end of Toronto through to Hamilton. Within this large area, there are a diverse group of companies providing products and services to the nuclear industry in Canada and internationally. These companies include, but are not limited to: the Candu Owner’s Group, Canadian Standards Association, SNC-Lavalin, Kinectrics, Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Promation, etc.

Shawndra is currently the Sales Director – Canada for Mirion. Mirion provides an unmatched range of proven technologies and unrivalled expertise in radiation safety & science. We partner with our customers to solve essential radiation safety challenges today — and empower their innovations to better the human condition tomorrow. Shawndra currently leads the Sales and Service teams within Canada, representing both the Mirion Technologies business as well as the Mirion Medical-Capintec business line. She started her career in Nuclear in 2012, working in Business Development for a distributor for RP equipment manufacturers. After 10 years in this role, she moved to Mirion to focus on working directly with a manufacturer. Shawndra is the current Chair of the Golden Horseshoe Chapter. She has been a part of the Chapter leading group since 2016. She has been involved with the Canadian Radiation Protection Association since 2013 and is a member of CNS (Canadian Nuclear Society).
