WiN–Golden Horseshoe West (GHW) spans Toronto’s west end to Hamilton and includes companies supporting Canada’s and the global nuclear industry, such as the CANDU Owners Group, CSA, SNC-Lavalin, Kinectrics, NWMO, and Promation.
Overview
WiN-Golden Horseshoe West (GHW) is located in Ontario and encompasses the geographical area from the west end of Toronto through to Hamilton. Within this large area, there are a diverse group of companies providing products and services to the nuclear industry in Canada and internationally. These companies include, but are not limited to: the Candu Owner’s Group, Canadian Standards Association, SNC-Lavalin, Kinectrics, Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Promation, etc.

Shawndra Kelly
Director, Chair – Golden Horseshoe West Chapter
Account Manager, Mirion Technologies
Shawndra is currently an Account Manager for Mirion, a leading Radiation Detection and Measurement Manufacturer within the industry,. She is responsible for accounts throughout Canada. She started her career in Nuclear in 2012 working in Business Development for a distributor for RP equipment manufacturers. After 10 years in this role, she moved to Mirion to focus on working directly with a manufacturer. Shawndra is the current Chair of the Golden Horseshoe Chapter. She has been a part of the Chapter leading group since 2016. She has been involved with the Canadian Radiation Protection Association since 2013 and is a member of CNS (Canadian Nuclear Society).
