Durham

WiN–Durham spans the eastern GTA, including Port Hope, and brings together members largely from Ontario Power Generation’s Pickering (six units) and Darlington (four units) nuclear plants.

Overview

WiN-Durham covers the area on the east side of the Greater Toronto Area including Port Hope. The Chapter includes a diverse group of members, most working for Ontario Power Generation at the two nuclear power plants in the Durham region: Pickering with six operating units and Darlington with four operating units.

Operations Manager

A WiN member for a number of years, she joined the Durham Executive as a member at large in 2022 after attending the World Nuclear University and being inspired to do more for our industry.  She held the Vice-Chair position for a short time and is currently the Chair of WiN Durham. 

After working at Dupont for a several years, started work at Cameco and been fortunate to hold work at multiple locations in various positions in production, projects and quality.  Currently works as the Operations Manager at Cameco Fuel Manufacturing. 

Holds a bachelor degree in Applies Science- Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
