As the Director of Partnership and Sponsorship for Women in Nuclear (WiN) Canada, Mehri Molanaie is instrumental in fostering relationships that advance the organization’s mission to empower women in the nuclear industry and promote gender equity in STEM. In her role, Mehri actively secures resources that fund WiN Canada’s key initiatives, helping sponsors recognize the direct impact of their support on programs that champion inclusivity and representation. On the partnership front, she collaborates with organizations that share WiN Canada’s vision, building alliances that amplify the organization’s influence and foster opportunities for change. Through transparent communication and ethical stewardship, Mehri plays a crucial role in enhancing WiN Canada’s reach, driving positive change, and building a more equitable nuclear industry.

In her day job, Mehri serves as the Director of Projects for Pickering Refurbishment at Ontario Power Generation (OPG). A seasoned leader with a strategic vision, Mehri applies her expertise in managing large-scale  projects to support Ontario’s clean energy goals, bringing her extensive experience and a proactive approach to this pivotal role.

Mehri holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer with 24 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in nuclear and mining. Her career includes notable roles such as Director of Project Planning and Control for both Darlington and Pickering Refurbishments, and Common Services Manager for Pickering. With a background spanning operations, maintenance, engineering, and project management, Mehri combines her technical knowledge and business acumen to lead strategically within complex, high-stakes environments, making her a respected leader and advocate for progress in the energy industry.
